PinSnap is designed so your location data stays local. The app uses Bluetooth and Location services to send GPS data from your iPhone directly to your compatible camera.
We do not operate a location tracking service for PinSnap. Your GPS history is not uploaded to PinSnap servers.
Information we use
- Location coordinates, accuracy, and movement state are used to geotag photos.
- Bluetooth device information is used to pair and reconnect your camera.
- Subscription status is verified through Apple's App Store.
How the information is used
- Send GPS data to your paired camera.
- Show connection, permission, and subscription state inside the app.
- Help troubleshoot support requests you send to us.
Storage and sharing
- Camera pairing and preference data are stored locally on your device.
- Payment details are processed by Apple; PinSnap does not receive your card information.
- We do not sell personal information or build advertising profiles.
Your controls
- You can revoke Location or Bluetooth access in iOS Settings.
- You can unpair cameras and delete the app to remove local app data.
- You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.
